Welcome to my new website. It’s been a long time coming, and I’ve put it off for too long but now it’s finally here and I’ll be steadily piecing it together with some interesting (I hope) content and news on my activities.
There will also be some links to much of the things which have kept me so busy, such as the World Youth Guitar Festival and Winchester Guitar Festival and the Arts Circus. I’m also busy performing with the Vida Guitar Quartet who will be launching their debut CD next year, plus other performances with singers and as a soloist.
I hope you enjoy the site, and please keep up-to-date with RSS or direct to your inbox if you feel the inclination to subscribe to the feed. See you soon.

hey hello helen, u’ve been a big insperation to me, i love your compositions, specially one that u’ve composed “west coast”. the first time i heard it, man it really brought me into an emotional state of delima..hahah..i kinda made a cover on that certian piece,i mixed it up with synths, java gongs, concrete sounds and the guitar is placed my the piano, it gives this ambient feeling. ill give u the url:

Helen – I’ve often wondered when you’d get your website together -the link from the WSGC dite now goes somewhere. Glad it’s finally happened. The trick now is to find the time to keep it up to date!!!
Thanks for your encouraging remarks at yesterday’s festival, much appreciated. I shall of course look out for a more luridly pink shirt!
To Helen,
Just like to say thank you for coming to Cirencester to play with us( and VIDA of course). Thanks again

Hi Neel, It was a pleasure to hear you play: keep up the great work! Have a look at the World Youth Guitar Festival website when you get a chance at http://www.wygf.org We’ve got a one-day festival happening on 26th July down in Southampton which you might like to come along to.
Hi Helen,
i heard that one of your students has a Leszek Gajdzik guitar and i am thinking of getting one. I was hoping you could put me in contact with him so i could send him an email with some questions about how he is liking the guitar. Thanks very much.
Hi Helen,
I was wondering if you had finally done your website. What a surprise! I have to say this is nicely done. I have been missing your teaching but hopefully I can arrange some courses in the near future.
Hi Helen,
I was wondering if you have any pupil slots available for 2012. Please could you contact me if you have availability.
